A&E Agency
wins Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2009 – 'Best Healthcare/Medical Recruitment
Firm' and 'Best Newcomer'
The Directors of the Accident & Emergency Agency Limited and Associated
Companies are delighted to announce having won further recognition as both the
‘Best Healthcare/Medical Recruitment Firm’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ at the recent
Recruiter Magazine Awards for Excellence 2009.
These prestigeous awards, judged by recruitment industry peers and business
leaders, are the highest accolades available to UK Recruitment Companies.
This is fantastic reward for our hard-working team and we would like to take
this opportunity to acknowledge the continued loyalty of our clients and
candidates without whom such recognition would not have been possible.
The following are the comments from both the judges and our kind referees:
Best Healthcare/Medical Recruitment Firm
“The Accident & Emergency Agency has introduced an executive search methodology
to the Healthcare sector, which has led to the company being awarded work with
more than 75 NHS Trusts and having won a contract with the NHS for the next
three years as a preferred supplier throughout the entire UK.
The judges were impressed by the strong evidence of research-based innovation,
and especially liked the company’s candidate-sourcing strategy. Working in such
vital, niche areas, the consultants were serious about finding the best
candidates rather than simply job filling. For example, an annual A&E Dinner,
which the company holds, is an example of the approach taken by the firm to go
out of its way to find the best candidates. The networking event brings
Emergency Medicine Doctors from all backgrounds - and different countries - together where
they can meet each other. The consultants can take the time to get to know
possible future candidates in person - not just their CVs but their career goals
and motivations.
The A&E Agency has extensively researched and mapped medical markets throughout
Europe, Middle East and the US. The research and vetting procedures are to such
a standard that Trusts have confidence in the company’s ability to find
highly-qualified candidates. This market coverage and expertise gives the A&E
Agency the flexibility to find the right candidates and speed up time to hire
for the client.”
Client’s testimony: “They keep our service going. The managing director is
available to us 24 hours a day and they are extremely loyal - they work really
hard for us. They’re very good and we use them regularly.”
Employee’s testimony: “I actually joined a year ago when I was at university
completing a law degree but decided to stay on. There’s a very different feel to
this company and it’s one of those firms where you can really go far.”
Best Newcomer
As well as winning Best Healthcare/Medical Recruitment Firm, the A&E Agency
scooped the Best Newcomer award, beating off tough competition. The judges
recognised the rapid progress made by the A&E Agency, carving itself a niche in
the specialist medical recruitment sector of Accident & Emergency.
Innovation in the medical sector was a key element in A&E Agency’s business
plan. The judges were impressed with the consultants, who are experts in their
relevant fields, leading to a much higher service reputation. The dedicated
service to clients shone through in all aspects of its dealings with companies
and candidates in the medical sector, which is evident in the repeat business
enjoyed by the company.
The quality of service is evident in the increasing list of NHS departments
appointing the A&E Agency to preferred supplier status. Over 75 NHS Trusts use
the services of A&E Agency. Many of these are clients as a result of clinical
leads and department heads referring the firms’ services to neighbouring Trusts.
The judging panel recognised the dramatic growth of the company in a short space
of time.
Client’s testimony: “They are committed to the job and the service they provide.
From a medical agency point of view, I don’t think there is anybody to touch
them. The level of service has never dropped - it’s an excellent service and has
not wavered.”
