“I have had the absolute pleasure of working with the Medicine team at A&E Agency for a period of 18 months and during this time they have worked tirelessly to provide the team at the Alexandra Hospital with locum support. The doctors (at consultant, SpR and SHO level) who have been supplied as part of this process have been of a high calibre, invariably located within the Midlands area. Often these requirements have been met on a short notice basis. The doctors booked through A&E Agency continue to return to help at the hospital on a regular basis and when required, longer-term bookings are still being renewed on an ongoing basis.

The team are responsive, effective and supportive. I am readily kept informed in terms of progress and, on the rare occasions when the agency have not been able to assist, I have been notified of this in a timely manner. I have, without exception, found the team to be approachable, professional, excellent communicators with a can-do attitude, proactive and swift to act when there are situations where assistance in sourcing a locum doctor is required on an urgent basis.
