We are delighted to invite applicants to apply for a new job that offers training in the assessment and management of fertility problems at a private clinic in Manchester. We are looking for a clinical fellow or speciality doctor gynaecologist with a passion and enthusiasm for fertility, training is provided so previous experience is not essential. Experience working in an Obs & Gynae rotation or placement as a doctor within a UK hospital is essential.

We believe that it’s the little things that make a big difference and aim to provide personalised care with an enthusiastic and passionate attitude to all of our patients. Our doctor’s personalities are important as you will be exposed to patients from all over the world and you’ll play a key role in high levels of personal care for every patient. Under the supervision of a fertility consultant, you will manage the care of new and existing patients and treat patients according to their needs and best interest, irrespective of their gender or sexual orientation.

The clinic offers the latest in IVF and fertility innovation. IVF innovation has rapidly advanced in recent years and we have remained at the forefront of these developments, helping to pioneer ever more effective treatments. We are one of the only fertility clinics in the country to have our own HFEA-licensed donor banks for UK donor sperm and donor eggs. You will take part in clinical work which includes IUI, egg collections, embryo transfers and other fertility-related procedures once completed all relevant competencies

Is this role for me?

  • You are a gynaecologist, obstetrician or fertility doctor
  • You are looking for a full-time permanent role
  • You must have MRCOG or equivalent
  • You need registration with the GMC
  • You must have experience working as a doctor in the UK
  • Completion of ultrasound training is desirable

You will provide the highest level of patient care in the provision of medical services for the investigation and treatment of fertility patients.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday and weekend medical cover on a rota basis
  • Salary: 45K-77K
  • Reporting to Fertility Consultant
