I am looking for Consultant in Occupational Health joining an existing growing Occupational Health team that includes nurses, vaccination team and manual handling service. You would also be involved in providing  occupational health & wellbeing services to NHS staff, and external clients.

There has been a move to hybrid working and consultations are mainly conducted remotely by either telephone or video. There may be times when face to face work or some peripatetic work within the Kent area.

The  department is committed to achieving and sustaining high quality services, and has been SEQOHS accredited since 2013

Ideal candidates should have established skills in Occupational Medicine and should possess MFOM/FFOM (or equivalent) and be included on the Specialist Register.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GMC Registration
  • FFOM or MFOM & CCT Specialist registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview

Skills

Essential

  • Clinical Training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining CCT in Occupational Medicine
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for role
  • Ability to provide some or all of statutory medicals such as Lead, HAVS or lonizing radiation

Desirable

  • NHS OH experience
