Job Description

  • The successful candidate would help the department to expand and develop the service.

  • The successful applicant(s) will join the 1.5 full time equivalent rheumatology consultants.

Area:

  • District general hospital, divided into 4 directorates (Acute Medicine, Surgery & Critical Care, Women & Children, Haematology, Oncology, Palliative & End of Life Care & Clinical Support) providing care to a population of about 350,000.
  • We also provide some specialist services for the whole of the region , making their  catchment population around 544,000.
