We are delighted to open applications for a Consultant Paediatrics with a sub-speciality interest in neonatology. The role will be based in Eastern England and a permanent contract.

What opportunities are available in this job?

You will be expected to see a full range of general paediatric patients. It would be desirable to have a subspecialty interest in neonates and to develop it to complement the needs of the department. You could have the opportunity to take clinical leadership roles such as Clinical Audit and link person for A&E in providing care for the children. You will be one of 10 General Paediatricians based in the trust and will support general paediatric and epilepsy services in the region of the Trust. You will also be supported to develop other interests within the role.

What are the requirements?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MRCPH or equivalent
  • NHS experience is desirable but international candidates are welcome to apply
  • 9+ years’ experience in paediatrics and/or neonates
  • Registration with the GMC *or in process*
