Histopathology Consultant

Job Description

£84,559 to £114,003 per annum

You will be contracted to provide histopathology (and non-gynaecological cytology services is also desirable).

There will be opportunities for teaching, and this will include working with many other hospital. You will be responsible for clinical liaison and participation in multidisciplinary meetings (as lead or deputy lead) in one or two areas.

Professional Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • FRCPath or show evidence of equivalent qualification
  • Applicants that are UK trained, must ALSO be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Speciality Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
  • Applicants that are non-UK trained, will be required to show evidence of equivalence to the UK CCT
  • Full and Specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC), or be eligible for registration within six months of interview
