 An exciting opportunity for Junior fellows in Critical Care to join the intensive care department. 

 This post is intended for Junior Fellows who wish to gain experience in managing Level 3 and Level 2 patients in an Intensive Care Unit. This post will provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience assessing and managing all critically ill patients with supervision from a dedicated intensive care consultant.

 The General Intensive Care Unit (GICU) is a very busy 32-bed unit and you would be joining one of the largest acute teaching hospitals trusts on the south coast of England. 

The successful candidates will join a large, dynamic critical care team in providing a high-quality clinical care for our patients. These posts are for 6 months initially, extendable to a year depending on the fellow’s progression. Previous critical care experience is desired but not essential. Applicants from all acute specialties including Anaesthetics, medical, emergency medicine or surgical backgrounds will be considered. You will be part of a team where the post will provide training and experience in all aspects of intensive care medicine in a large multidisciplinary unit.

Essential Criteria:

 Full GMC Registration

Critical Care experience

Medical Degree and/or equivalent
