An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ST3+ in Emergency Medicine to work for this NHS trust which covers three main hospital sites
This post is suitable for doctors looking to work at middle-grade level in the Emergency Department. We will actively support all clinicians to achieve competencies in the RCEM curriculum and completion of the FRCEM examinations.
Candidates applying for this post must have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience with a significant proportion of that in acute specialties and at least 12 months in emergency medicine (EM).
. Regular consultant led teaching will be provided. There will also be opportunities to develop own personal interests.
The Emergency Department consultant team are highly involved in undergraduate training, as well as postgraduate training for EM ACCS and HST, GPVTS and Foundation Year trainees.
Essential Criteria:
Medical Degree completed from a recognized University
At least 12 months previous experience in Emergency Medicine post
Current ALS
Full GMC Registration
NHS experience
Desirable Criteria:
- Completion of ST3 EM
- FRCEM Intermediate
- MRCEM
- ATLS/ETC provider
