To put this into context, this is three times as many as the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020. The NHS’s long term plan has committed to improving cancer survival by increasing early diagnosis from half to three quarters and enabling 55,000 more people to survive cancer for five years or more by 2028. This is why the NHS need passionate and experienced oncologists like you to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families.

We are opening applications for a Registrar in Medical Oncology to work in the Republic of Ireland on a full-time permanent contract.

The right candidate will have the following:

  • Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration  
  • Medical Oncology registrar/SPR experience
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
  • MRCPI/MRCP
  • Irish or UK experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent English skills (IELTS certificate with an overall band score of or OET certificate with an overall band score of B)
