A&E agency has a rare and exciting opportunity for doctors with a minimum of 2 years post-education experience in the UK (FY2/ SHO/ SPR) wanting to put their clinical skills and knowledge into a rewarding role outside of the usual hospital environment. This role is for a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Each prospective candidate would need to have broad clinical experience in a discipline that requires history taking, examination and evaluation of clinical presentations (ideally GP/Accident and Emergency/ NHS Hospitals background). They would also need to have a sound understanding of clinical governance and the importance of delivering to agreed customer service levels and targets.
As a Registered Medical Practitioner, the candidate would be conducting medical physiotherapy assessments and examinations and producing concise reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as a part of a successful integrated team. Such assessments focus on how a disability affects day to day life in performing work related activities.
They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff. The work will be unsupervised and require initiative, understanding one’s own limitations and requesting support when necessary.
This role offers a strong salary and working hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday which offers a fantastic work/life balance - something that is quite rare to find.
