Are you a Senior House Officer who specialises in Emergency Medicine/A&E?

We have ad-hoc shifts available at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust starting from 16/09/21 and running until 09/01/2022. These shifts cover a full rota including Days, Evenings, Weekends and Nights.

The Rotherham Hospital site is set in leafy suburbs, 1 mile from the M1, 6 miles from Sheffield and close to Doncaster. We provide all major outpatient & inpatient specialities. The modern Rotherham Hospital site provides a range of hospital based Medical, Surgical, Paediatric and Obstetric & Gynaecological services.

The Urgent & Emergency Care Centre (UECC) opened in 2017 and see around 75,000 attendees per year, and there are around 55,000 inpatients and 250,000 outpatient’s attendances each year.

The Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham is surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities and extensive retail outlets. Its proximity to an international airport, the M1 and M18 and the high-speed capital rail links give it a unique location.

The Rotherham borough has a population of approximately 250,000 and covers approximately 100 square miles. Much of the local historic coal, iron and steel industries are diminished and have been replaced by thriving and vibrant light and service industries.
