A&E Agency has an exciting opportunity to an experience Registrar to work on a locum basis at Pennine Trust.
We work with all A&E Departments across the trust which include Oldham, Fairfield and Rochdale (UTC). We have regular shifts across all sites so we can build your rota based on when you want to work and what shift you would prefer. We see shift for days, nights and weekends.
Fairfield General Hospital is the third largest hospital run by the Trust. It is located 2 miles from the centre of Bury and 10.5 miles north of Manchester.The hospital is the only remaining hospital in Bury and is one of three primary stroke units in Greater Manchester. It is also the main site for elective surgery in the North Manchester area. The Trust has invested £2m to improve facilities in the hospital's accident and emergency department. The improvements include a new, dedicated Children's A&E department and these new facilities were launched in Summer 2014
Rochdale Infirmary is the smallest hospital run by the Trust. It is situated close to Rochdale town centre and lies 14 miles north east of Manchester. Rochdale Infirmary provides a range of hospital services including a 24/7 Urgent Care Centre (UCC), short stay inpatient Clinical Assessment Unit, Oasis Unit for acute medical patients with dementia, day surgery, a specialist Pennine Rheumatology Centre, x-ray and blood testing, antenatal services, early pregnancy unit, outpatient clinics, and a new specialist Eye Unit.
The Royal Oldham Hospital is located close to Oldham town centre, 8 miles north east of Manchester. Formerly known as Oldham District and General, the hospital lies within the Coldhurst area of Oldham on the boundary with Royton. It was the birthplace of Louise Brown, the world's first successful in vitro fertilised "test tube baby", on 25 July 1978.The hospital has a full accident and emergency department and offers a comprehensive range of acute and general surgical services, including vascular surgery. The site also offers more specialist services including clinical haematology and provides all of the Trust's gynaecological services to patients in North Manchester.
To be considered for this role you will need
- You will need to have at least 6 months recent, relevant NHS Job experience
- GMC Registered
