In recent years, the motivation and drive behind working as a locum has shifted from solely a financial incentive to working towards achieving your goals and crafting your career through non-traditional routes.

We have heard from A&E Agency doctors who have used the time and flexibility available whilst working as a locum doctor to sit exams and study part-time postgraduate courses to support further career progression.
